A very handsome plastic case provides convenient, all-in-one-place storage for View-Master single reels and a Model C viewer. It will hold about 100 reels.

Production of these Library Boxes began in the late 1940s and continued through the late 1950s.

Unfortunately most of the plastic Reel Library Boxes have suffered chips and cracks (especially the tops) over the ages. The value differential between “no chips or cracks” is several fold, with the defect-free specimens hard to obtain.

Our vintage Library Boxes are in excellent++ condition, without any chips or cracks, and they are polished & cleaned, so they look close to like new. The cream top compliments the maroon bottom, making it a lovely item, both for display and function.

NOTE: Each marbled library box is unique in its marble design. some are more pronounced marbeling, others less so.

If you wish to store your reels in a sleeve, we suggest our archival safe Reel Sleeves, which will fit with the reel and then into this library box.
